WELCOME TO 2012
 

8th January - Annual Area Meeting at Kirtling Village Hall. 30 members attended. The meeting was followed by a light - hearted Forum of question, answers and discussion, with Jean Clayden chairing, Sally Walrond and Paul Mills. It was educational and very entertaining with good participation from the floor. Over lunch, to which everyone had contributed, a slide show of photos of the 2011 events was displayed on a large screen and Sallie played a medley of popular songs on her accordion, creating a very jolly atmosphere. Anne Grimshaw organised a picture quiz on historical aids in the horse-world which everyone could do at their leisure. Anne gave the answers and explanations on the different items, and provided a prize to John Snowdon who had the most correct. A Raffle raised £58 to help with Our Annual Show expenses. Many thanks to those who gave the prizes. The EA Show Points Trophy from 2011 was won by Paul Mills and Neil Winney, so Neil was presented with it for his six month share. The table top sale saw some useful items changing hands. Vanessa Francis has arranged a drive at Glemham Hall near Woodbridge 1st April and needs to know numbers. Details on the Events Page. Thanks to everyone who helped setting up and clearing up and general full participation, making this meeting a most memorable and enjoyable occasion.
